My technique for dealing with these events: Put your imagination in fast forward and see this from the perspective of a few weeks in the future, from where you can look back and realise: 1. Sheesh, I wasted so much time getting all worked up over that! 2. Enjoy that smug feeling about having done the right thing 3. You're actually as tough as Chuck Norris when it really comes down to it! 4. That you're now laughing so much about it with your mates that the red wine is in danger of coming out your nose...
