Family Portrait: Mother and Son

Mother
Canon 5D, 85mm, f/5, 1/250, ISO 400

My mum always gives out to me when I don’t update my blog and she has to keep logging on to see the same post. Sorry mum!

I’m so happy that Jessica has given me permission to post photographs from a session we did a couple of weeks ago. Jess is the incredibly hard-working mum that’s been the force behind getting Educate Together to Greystones and Ilyas is the lucky little boy who she’s doing it all for. We spent an hour on the beach before sneaking into a local farmer’s field for a few shots. This was one of the last ones we took and it’s my favourite of the day.

An excellent picture.. you can see the love there.. it´s beautiful! I love fun pictures.. Photos which are posed for don´t always turn out as well as you would think they would. Sometimes the spontaneous ones are the best – they capture real emotion :-)

    Hi Claire,
I trust you are keeping well and enjoying life. From time to time you’ve put up some advice on how to photograph, hints and tips I seem to remember. Any chance you’d put up a link to your advice, please. I ask because I’ve begun a digital photography evening course in UCC and I’d love to have your take. With best wishes…

Sorry. Ignore that last request. I should have known you’d have done it already. I forgot to look at how you organise your blog. I’ve found exactly what I was hoping for and more under tutorial and reviews. Thank you very much.

Since your mum is already giving out to you, I’m not going to say a word. But I too miss you.
