Generally I don't enter competitions because of the rights thing (it's also why I don't put anything more than snapshots up on Facebook, they have similar T&C) but I guess an exception every now and then is something I can live with. As far as I can see they have permission to use the photograph (with credit), but I haven't signed away copyright of the image, it's still mine and in two years that license ends. There are some I've seen that have you signing away all ownership. Good to always read the small print.
