I was like a kid in a sweetshop John, so much to explore. I tried a few in black and white, some of them I’ll post tomorrow. I’m afraid I didn’t get any closer to the crows, when they flew up like that I was over exploring the other side of the grounds trying to keep my balance on some fallen rocks and I only had a wide-angle lens with me. If I get the lens I’m hankering after I may have to go back with it

What a gem of a place for a photographer! Your story is great too.

Great shots you took. Some might be good in B&W. Those crows are amazing. Any closer a shot of them would spook the hell out of anyone! I love yur shot looking out the window – perfect focusing choice.

Ah…more tomorrow!!?? Did you get any closer shots of the crows as a group? I think the group term is a murder of crows!!! Well named.
