Killiney Bay
Canon 5DII, 28mm, f/20, 1/250, ISO 400

This has to be in my top ten favourite views. It’s from the Vico Road in Killiney looking out towards Bray Head and the Sugar Loaf.

I think I’ve taken about a hundred different versions of that exact same photograph. I never get tired of it. The view in the other direction is pretty good too if it’s a nice day.

That view got me through my first 12 months of moving to Ireland. I used to detour around the N11 to get to it on my drives back from the city to Bray. It made me feel like I was in Melbourne or Sydney or – anywhere else!

I agree – one of the pretiest landscape scenes I’ve ever come accross, it’s close to perfect.

The irony is the only thing I’d change about it is the very thing that lets me enjoy it on a daily basis – the Dart line //

lovely shot.
