She’s Leaving Home

Wedding Photography
Canon 5D, 28mm, f/2, 1/80, ISO 400

A favourite from a wedding I’ve been meaning to post for ages. This is Joy (and she really lives up to her name) being helped into her dress by her Mum and her sisters. I was laughing so much it was hard to hold the camera still, it was such a fun wedding.

This is also the photograph I sent in as my submission to the excellent Homepages project by Catherine Brodigan (which is still on sale from Lulu.com if you want to nab a copy).

wooow… this is my expression after seeing this blog
    “A picture speaks a thousand words… ”
These pictures on the blog speak a beautiful language… especially this one, showing beautifully the jubilation in a marriage scene is really really awesome

Great blog… keep it up :)

    Hi Claire

Fantastic shot! This was the wedding we worked together on, where I was official videographer.
Joy will be delighted to hear that her wedding DVDs will be ready to send out after this weekend!

Keep up the great work Claire!

    regards

    Hi Claire,
I’m sorry to say I haven’t seen your blog for a while. But to come back to this one is fantastic. It evokes John Minihan for me. I see another great collection in the offing… Irish weddings – behind the scenes…

By the way, are you coming to Cork for the Blog Awards. If so, I’d love to meet up with you – if you have the time.
