A few weeks ago Damien Mulley of Irish Blog Awards fame had his bags lost by a company called Sky Handling Partners. He blogged about their subsequent incompetence here (strong language warning) and lo and behold this morning he finds that someone with the same IP address as his friends the handling company has been signing him up to gay dating agencies and writing “interesting” profiles for him.

I do hope there is some severe consequence for the company.
I don’t think I’d work for a company that asked me to do that. But I remain to be tested.
Some people forget that everyone leaves endless tracks around the web.
Omani: I thought it was a good question to consider. Usually the decision is upon you you don’t get much time to consider. I have not been personally tested so blatantly yet (thankfully) but I have seen it come close and I think it happens subtly on a regular basis.
Jack: So very true. I’ve heard integrity described as how you act when nobody’s looking. On the internet somebody is always looking.
